Sundberg Aviation Group

Sundberg Aviation Group, a private Danish company founded in 1978 as SUN-AIR of Scandinavia, is headquartered in Billund.

The group employs 120 people and operates subsidiaries in Thisted and Augsburg.

Its four business units include JOINJET, SmuuthCare, SUN-AIR Technic, and SUN-AIR of Scandinavia, under the ownership of Niels and Kristoffer Sundberg.

JOINJET

JOINJET specializes in ad-hoc charter flights, operating a business jet fleet that includes the Global 5500, Challenger 3500, Hawker 4000, Citation CJ2+, and Citation M2 with seating capacities ranging from 5 to 14 passengers. Guided by the motto “Fly the way you like,” JOINJET operates worldwide and maintains strong partnerships with major air brokers across the globe.

SUN-AIR TECHNIC

SUN-AIR Technic specializes in the maintenance of both scheduled and business aircraft.
The workshops manage everything from major aircraft overhauls to landing gear, composite materials, wheels, and brakes.

Spare parts sales and a comprehensive component exchange program form a significant part of the business, reinforcing its position as a trusted partner for operators across Europe and worldwide.

SmuuthCare

SmuuthCare’s air ambulance service operates according to the highest international standards, utilizing a fleet of Hawker 800 aircraft. The team is operational 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year and each aircraft is equipped with all necessary systems and medical devices to ensure optimal environmental conditions for patient care.
