Advance Passenger Information

US, UK and Canadian government authorities require that all airlines collect Advanced Passenger Information (API/APIS) from all passengers prior to travel. API information for passengers travelling to the UK and Canada is collected at check-in. 

 

NOTE: If you are travelling to the US, you are required to provide advanced passenger information (APIS) within 72 hours prior to departure. If your booking is made less than 72 hours prior to departure, you will be asked to provide this information at the time of booking. Passengers who do not provide the information on time may not be permitted to travel. 

 

You can register Advanced Passenger Information, under ba.com/Manage my booking

 

You will be required to supply some or all of the following details:

 

  • Full name (first, middle and last names) as it appears on your passport
  • Date of birth
  • Nationality
  • Country of residence
  • Gender
  • Passport number and country of issue
  • Passport expiry date
